What a Jacobson Guitar Sounds Like

Sorry, there's no audio clip on this page, but if you really want to hear a Jacobson guitar, in the hands of a guy who can REALLY play that thing, you need to goto http://www.gspguitar.com./a_main8/cds.html, call (415) 896-1144 or email  gsp@serius.com and cough up a few bucks for Bill Kanengiser's latest CD album, Caribbean Souvenirs.   The music is a delight to the ear, Bill's playing is dazzling and, very importantly, the production work on the CD has resulted in a recording with  exceptional presence and realism.  This is what the guitar sounds like.

Now, if you think you need to actually HEAR some of Bill's amazing, exquisite guitar playing before being convinced to make such a purchase, you can do that. Just goto http://www.cdnow.com and do a search on kanengiser.  Samples from Bills albums Rondo Ala Turka and Caribbean Souvenirs are available, and their musical quality is superb.  I would suggest you set your computer's media player to full buffering.

FYI, I almost feel obligated to call the guitar Bill used for this recording a joint venture between me and Uris Zelten of San Diego, CA.  I made the guitar in 1994, but it was nearly destroyed by airline baggage gorillas in Portugal in 1997.  Uris breathed new life into it with a complete rebuild, and now it just has a little more personality.
